For AR-15/M-16/M-4 family of rifles chambered for .223 or 5.56mm. Precision machined from 8620 (fine grain steel) bar stock, heat treated for maximum service life and has a phosphate finish. This new design from Smith Enterprise is a very effective muzzle brake that substantially reduces felt recoil and stabilizes the weapon to keep sights on target. Has an internal expansion chamber, 4 rows of ports with 3 ports in each row and a .265 inch exit hole for maximum recoil reduction and accuracy. Ports are in rows cut to look similar to the Smith Enterprise Vortex Flash Hider. This is not a flash suppressor. This is one of the best values available in top quality muzzle brakes. Very easy installation with no washers necessary. Has standard AR-15 threads of 1/2x28 Threads per inch. Sound Suppressor capable.*
