Mako AK-47/74 Folding Stock with Cheek Riser - For European Stamped AK variants
This folding stock provides excellent shooting comfort combined with strength, durability and quick manipulation. Stock has a strong, streamlined polymer hinge and is locked open by a robust claw. A button releases the lock and allows the stock to be folded. Spring tension holds the stock in folded position on side of the rifle. Simply pull on stock to unfold and lock it open - very fast. It has a very solid lock up with no wobble. The folding mechanism is completely ambidextrous allowing it to be switched to fold to the right or left (comes from factory set up to fold to left side of rifle). The adjustable cheek peice gives a very comfortable and proper cheek weld for shooting with any type of iron sights or optics and can be adjusted instantly when needed. The rubber butt pad grips body armor for non-slip control and softens recoil. Design of stock allows for trigger manipulation when stock is folded - can be fired while folded. This is a very comfortable stock to shoot with, easily one of the most comfortable AK stocks available, and is quick and easy to fold and unfold. Designed for Stamped receiver, European AK-47 or AK-74 type rifles.
*Note: May require gunsmithing to fit Chinese Stamped AKs since the receiver opening is approximately 1mm narrower due to the thicker steel sidewalls. Width of aluminum AK receiver adapter on this Mako stock is 1.275" or 32.36mm which is slightly wider than the receiver opening on these Chinese AKs and the top screw location is also different.
It normally fits Stamped European AK variants very well.
