This is the Enidine Buffer is for Fixed Stock 7.62mm/.308 AR type rifles. Reduce felt recoil, improve reliability, reduce bolt carrier speed, reduce wear on parts, reducer shock and vibration to optics and reduce bolt bounce with this simple drop-in replacement. This buffer has a piston that is hydraulically dampened to absorb the shock of impact from the bolt carrier in its rearward movement and to prevent bolt bounce as it chambers a fresh cartridge. You will feel less recoil and smoother operation with this buffer!
Designed for .308 sized AR type rifles with a full length, fixed stock such as the standard A2 type fixed stock and other aftermarket fixed stocks such as the Magpul PRS. This is a proven system that is utilized by civilian competition shooters, military and law enforcement personnel. This buffer was designed for 7.62mm/.308 rifles, but will also work well with other cartridges based on the .308 case such as the .338 Federal, .260 Rem, .243, etc.
Note: Not for use in Bushmaster or Rock River Arms .308 rifles. They have a longer, non-standard bolt carrier which will not work with this buffer.
