Enidine Shot Shock Hydraulic Recoil Reducing Stock Tube - For Mil-Spec Collapsible Stocks
The Enidine Shot Shock is a hydraulic Recoil Reducer or shock absorber which replaces the collapsible stock tube or buffer tube normally used with AR-15/M4 style telescoping stocks used on Tactical Shotgun Stocks or Tactical Rifles. This shock absorber is manufactured by ITT Enidine Inc. Enidine has been a leading manufacturer of recoil absorbtion devices for stationary, mobile, and personal weapons for over forty years. The Hydraulic Recoil Reducer compresses under recoil and reduces recoil by more than 70% (according to manufacturer's testing), making heavy rifle and shotgun loads comfortable for all shooters. This hydraulic system outperforms spring-only systems by actually absorbing recoil instead of just spreading it out over a longer period of time. We have shot this sytem a lot and it outperforms every other shotgun recoil reducer we have tried. It absorbs a LOT of energy. Subjective feel of the recoil level is at least cut in half on a full power buckshot, turkey or slug loads. Makes a pump shotgun kick less than a semi-auto. We have tried it side by side with semi-autos and spring based recoil stocks and it really does work as advertised.
This item is sold seperately for those shooters who have a rifle or shotgun with an AR style collapsable stock adapter and want to replace the standard collapsible stock tube with a recoil reducing tube. It is incredibly effective at reducing recoil especially with heavy kicking guns. The more recoil you have, the more you will notice the difference. For example, if you shoot full power 12 ga slug loads or 3 inch magnum loads, you will feel a dramatic difference whereas with light birdshot target loads the difference is not as dramtic.
This stock tube is made to Mil-Spec stock tube dimensions and will fit Mil-Spec Collapsible Stocks. Commercial Spec Butt Stocks will NOT fit properly but will be too loose.
*Note - This stock tube is NOT COMPATIBLE with AR-15 and AR-10 type rifles since it is not hollow and will not accept the recoil buffer and springs of an AR-15 or AR-10 rifle. If you have an AR-10 or AR-15 rifle see our selection of Enidine Hydraulic Buffers instead.

Remington 870 and Mossberg 500/590/835 with AR-15 stock adapters
Saiga shotguns with AR-15 stock adapters, large caliber bolt action rifles with AR-15 style stock adapters
*Works best with heavy kicking guns that generate enough recoil to really work this shock absorber. Rifles chambered for lighter recoiling cartridges such as .223, 6.8 and 7.62x39 do not generate enough recoil to notice the benifits of this part. Guns with 12ga buckshot, slug, or turkey load level of recoil or heavier will work very well with this shock absorber.
