The exterior bearing surfaces are hand polished using a Quench-Polish-Quench (QPQ) process to yield incredibly hard and lubricious bearing surfaces. When properly lubricated, this system was designed to make your rifle feel like it is cycling on ball bearings. This carrier features a 100% increase in bearing surface for smoother operation and improved alignment and lower wear in the upper receiver.
