JP Tactical Compensator Matte Black .308 cal. for Bull Barrel (.925 Barrel Diameter)
JP has developed an all-new Tactical Recoil eliminator design for .308 AR-10 rifles and carbines. In order to maximize effectiveness in a tactical style muzzle brake, JP has designed a series of muzzle brakes with a larger 1.2" outer diameter giving them incredible effectiveness. For shooters with heavier barrels and who are not concerned with the IPSC/3-gun 1" diameter requirement, this gives you the ultimate in recoil control.
JP produced a design that maximizes the potential of the tactical muzzle brake design while maintaining nearly the same recoil reduction and neutrality that has characterized the original JP Recoil Eliminator. This is an extremely effective tactical compensator which dramatically reduces recoil and muzzle climb. Two large expansion chambers and baffles to dramatically reduce recoil and 4 top ports to keep the muzzle down. No bottom ports to keep dust signature to a minimum. Has been proven to be one of the best muzzle brakes available. Made to the highest quality standards, has a matte black finish.
Compensator has a 1.2" outer diameter that is tapered to .925" where it meets the barrel to match bull barrels. Has 5/8x24 TPI thread pattern which is standard in .308 cal AR-10 style rifles. Has .350" exit hole for .308 bullets but can be opened up for larger calibers by a competent gunsmith. Also very effective for hunting rifles or precision bolt action rifles.
