Originally designed for use on extra large bore guns, but is suitable for any gun to tame heavy recoil. It has a flat contour like the All Purpose Pad for all types of shooting applications. This is the ultimate in recoil pad protection with a 1 3/8" thickness.

These grind to fit recoil pads contain Sorbothane®, a proprietary visco-elastic material, that is custom molded and specific by engineers worldwide for its superior damping and isolation properties and scientifically proven to be the finest cushioning material available. In many applications and laboratory tests Sorbothane® has achieved shock absorption levels of up to 94.7%.
These recoil pads will reduce recoil and get you back on target. By virtually eliminating the rebound effect of the first shot, second shots are quicker and more accurate. Sorbothane will not distort or lose its effectiveness after being compressed thousands of times and will not "bottom out" as do most common rubber materials on the market today.
