The UTG M-14 Recoil Pad is a pre-fit, screw-on type pad that easily attaches to standard wood or synthetic M14 and M1A stocks.  It is made of a durable rubber material with a non-slip surface design that stays firmly in your shoulder.  It is a firm rubber pad, not a soft mushy pad, but is certainly softer than a steel butt plate.  It has a lip on the top of the pad to fill in the backplate hinge cut-out on M14 and M1A stocks.  Has two screw holes located to line up with factory stock screw holes for easy, drop-in installation.

Pad is approximately 1 inch thick.
