The SEI M1 Garand Muzzle Brake provides approximately 35-40% decrease in felt recoil and nearly 100% decrease in muzzle climb. This device enables very fast and accurate follow up shots and makes the M1 a real pleasure to shoot.

This muzzle break is designed to fit M1 Garand rifles by screwing directly onto the barrel threads in front of the front sight assembly. Once it is screwed onto the barrel, it is anchored in place by the gas tube plug which keeps the muzzle break from loosening. This is a very simple mounting process that only takes a few minutes and requires no modifications.  It has the same effective 14 port design used on the original M-16 and M-14 Smith Enterprise muzzle breaks. It is the only high quality muzzle break on the market for the M1 Garand that we are aware of.  Designed for .30-06, .308, 7.62mm rifles. Smaller caliber M-1 rifles can also use this muzzle break effectively, though the exit hole is optimized for .30 caliber bullets. Calibers larger than .30 cal. cannot be used with this muzzle break.  Precision machined from heat treated 4140 and 8620 chrome moly steels and is provided with a manganese phosphate finish.  Can be used on either full length M-1 Rifles or shorter "Tanker Garands" as well.
