Mesa Tactical LEO Telescoping Recoil Stock Kit for Remington 870 Shotguns
The Mesa Tactical Recoil Stock Kit is simply the best tactical shotgun recoil stock kit on the market - period. The LEO model is a simplified tactical recoil stock kit without all the accessory mounting points of the high and low tube models. It features a lowered stock elevation allowing the use of iron sights or low mounted optical sights. The LEO stock kit includes a Quick Detachable sling swivel sockets on each side of the stock adapter. The concept behind the telescoping stock system is simple: the shotgun’s factory stock is replaced by an aluminum adapter, to which standard AR-15 grips and telescoping buttstocks can be securely attached. All Mesa Tactical stock adapters are investment cast aircraft aluminum, which are then CNC machined before being anodized with a Matte Black Type III Class 2 mil-spec finish.
The Recoil Stock Kits include an Enidine Shot Shock hydraulic Recoil Reducer which replaces the standard receiver extension tube normally used with AR-15 style telescoping stock assemblies, such as those used in other Mesa Tactical Stock Kits. The Shot Shock recoil reducer is manufactured by ITT Enidine Incorporated. Enidine has been a leading manufacturer of recoil absorbtion devices for stationary, mobile, and personal weapons for over forty years. The Shot Shock reduces felt-recoil by up to 70%, making the 12 gauge tactical shotgun easily controllable for all shooters, even with full power buckshot and slug loads. Recoil is reduced on all types of loads from bird shot to 3" magnums, but the amount of recoil reduction is more noticeable the greater the recoil is. It makes painfully heavy recoil a non-issue. It really works and is by far the most effective recoil reducing stock for tactical shotguns and is perfect for deer and turkey hunters too.
The Enidine Recoil Reducing Stock Tube, called the Shot Shock, is made for high stress environments and is tested to over a million cycles. You will not wear it out. The Shot Shock is also available seperately for other rifle or shotgun applications. All Mesa Tactical parts are guaranteed for life.
