The Urbino Tactical Stock is designed to be a very comfortable stock to increase control and reduce shooter fatigue especially in long shooting sessions. It has a fixed length and is made from injection-molded glass-filled nylon. It has a short tactical length of pull of 12.5 inches to make it easy to shoulder and comfortable while wearing body armor, extra field gear or heavy clothing. This also makes it a good option for smaller shooters who also need a shorter stock for proper control. It feaures a Limbsaver recoil pad and a urethane rubber grip. The stock also has Benelli-style ambi side sling loops for 1.25" sling webbing and a hole at the lower rear of the stock that accepts QD style sling swivels (one swivel included). Additionally, there is a stock storage compartment under the removable recoil pad. This is a comfortable, quality and durable tactical stock that offers a lot of value for the price and looks great too. This model also has an adjustable Cheek Riser for a perfect cheek weld and stock fit when using optical sights.
The Cheek Riser is made of the same injection-molded glass-filled nylon as the stock and slides onto the stock from the rear using one of 5 height slots. It is held in place by using the height slots and tension as the Cheek Riser is made to fit very tightly and it is also held in place by the specially design Limbsaver recoil pad. The two screws on each side of the Cheek Riser are mounting points for the optional Shell Holder which can be purchased seperately to hold extra shells on the side of the stock. It is one of the finest stock mounted shell holders available anywhere.
The Cheek Riser is perfect for shooting with any type of optical sight so you can have a perfect cheek height and cheek weld with the stock. The Cheek Riser is slightly wider than the stock making for a very comfortable feel and is adjustable in .30" increments. The lowest setting is approximately .25" higher than the stock and then each increment adds approximately .30" so that the highest setting is approximately 1.40" above the standard stock height.
