| PWS KAC556 (SM556) for AR15/M4 Series
The KAC556 compensator, also known as the SM556, is a short version of the FSC556 that is designed to work with the Knights Armamant Company KAC QDSS-NT4 Sound Suppressor. It has the same recoil reducing and flash reducing capabilities of the very popular FSC556 but in a more compact design. It also has the added benefit of venting some of the blast upward as well as to the sides to help keep the muzzle down. It is .25" shorter than the FSC556 so if you are looking for a great compensator in as compact of a package to keep your rifle as short as possible, this is it.
This device has been classified as a non-flash suppressing device by the BATFE. Copy available upon request. Designed for AR15/M4 style rifles and carbines chambered for 5.56mm/.223cal. and has a large expansion chamber and a .290 inch exit hole. Since it was designed to work with a sound suppressor it comes with a peel washer. If a crush washer is desired, it can be ordered seperately. Installation instructions are provided with device.
