Primary Weapons Systems (PWS) Precision Rifle Compensator (PRC)
The PRC is a specialized compensator for precision rifles that is designed to dramtically reduce felt recoil while allowing the shooter to maintain an accurate sight picture of the target. The PRC is ported in a way to reduce dust signature when firing from the prone position. It is designed for cartridges up to .338 Lapua and works very well with .308 Win, .30-06, and any of the .300 and .338 Magnums. Also works well with any 7.62 semi-auto battle rifles that have the 5/8x24 RH threads. Has been shown to be effective even with smaller calibers such as 6.5mm. Perfectly at home in tactical or sporting applications. Due to its weight and diameter it works best with rifles with a medium or heavy barrel taper or bull barrel profile. Capable of greater recoil reduction than the PWS FSC30 compensator due to larger diameter and longer expansion chamber.
This unit is 3.00" in length, .980" in diameter, 4.5oz in weight and is threaded 5/8x24 RH.
The exit hole is .375 cal, so .338 is the largest caliber that should be used with it.
