| Smith Enterprise 7.62 Muzzle Brake with 9/16x24 Right Hand Threads
This muzzle brake is made for 7.62mm or .308 cal. rifles with 9/16x24 RH threads. It was originally designed as an muzzle brake option for the SOCOM-16 threaded gas lock. But it will work well any rifle with this thread pattern. 9/16x24 RH threads are also common on most Alexander Arms 6.5 Grendal rifles, Inch pattern FN-FAL rifles as well as others. This muzzle brake will work very effectively with calibers of 6.5mm up to 7.62mm.
Designed to give the look of the popular SEI vortex flash suppressor, but to act as a muzzle brake instead. It is a very effective design with 4 rows of ports with 3 ports per row, an internal expansion chamber and a .342 cal. exit hole that is optimized for .308 cal bullets. It is very effective at reducing recoil and stabilizing the rifle in recoil to keep sights on target for rapid follow up shots. Due to symetrical design, there is no need for indexing it to a certain point or to use crush washers. Just screw it directly onto the barrel or adapter. This is an excellent value for a very high quality muzzle brake. It is precision machined from 8620 steel and heat treated for maximum service life and provided with a mil-spec manganese phosphate finish. Built extremly tough.
