Smith Enterprise SOCOM-16 Threaded Gas Lock with 5/8x24 RH threads

JP Enterprises JPTRE-324 Tactical Compensator with 5/8x24 threads (includes 5/8" crush washer)

This kit replaces the gas lock/muzzle brake unit that comes on the SOCOM-16 from the factory with a higher quality gas lock from Smith Enterprise and a superior muzzle brake from JP Enterprises. This kit which is available only from Para Bellum Products, takes your SOCOM-16 to the next level of performance by cutting recoil and muzzle climb in a very high quality package. We combined the excellent Smith Enterprise SOCOM-16 threaded gas lock with the popular and extremely effective JP Enterprises .308 Tactical Compensator. These are both high quality components which far outclass the factory parts. The Gas Lock is made from super tough 8620 stress proof steel and the compensator is precision machined from stainless steel and black teflon coated. Additionally, the front sight base on this gas lock is high enough to allow the use of standard, national match and tritium front sights for M14 and M1A rifles instead of the taller factory SOCOM-16 specific front sights.
