| Sprinco Recoil Management Guide Rod System for 1911 5" Barrel
The Sprinco Recoil System consists of a stainless steel guide rod and dual recoil springs. The primary recoil spring works just like a standard recoil spring to control the cycling of the slide. The heavier secondary recoil spring is actuated during the last portion of the slides travel. This cushions the slide to frame impact and smooths out the transition from rearward to forward motion of the slide. This has the effect of reducing felt recoil to the shooter's hand and reducing muzzle flip, thus improving sight recovery and shooting speed.
This is a proven design that has been improved and refined over the years. The guide rods are made of high quality stainless steel and are meticulously hand polished. The recoil springs are high quality chrome silicone springs designed for long service life. Quality control is top notch and they are backed by a lifetime warranty from the manufacturer.
