Smith Enterprise 5.56mm AR-15 Muzzle Brake - SEI DC Suppressor Capable

The Smith Enterprise Good Iron Direct Connect muzzle brake is a suppressor capable 556mm NATO muzzle brake. It has additional groves cut into it an a slightly longer length in order to accept SEI Direct Connect suppressors. It is .35 inch longer and .5 ounces heavier than the original SEI 556NATO brake. This Smith Enterprise muzzle brake is designed to fit all 5.56mm and .223 cal. military style rifles or any 5.56mm/.223 rifle that has the standard 1/2 x 28 TPI RH thread pattern. This includes AR15 and M-16 rifles, M-4 Carbines, Sig 556, etc. It is supplied with a locking jam-nut that allows the customer to index the muzzle brake so that the top either points straight up or slightly to one side in order to precisely counter the way the your gun tends to climb in recoil. Once in position, the jam nut is tightened against the back of the muzzle brake to lock it into position. Its multiple side and top ports are designed to effectively reduce recoil and muzzle climb. This is a proven design manufactured by Smith Enterprise Incorporated (SEI). It has 14 gas ports precision machined from super tough heat treated 8620 stressproof chrome moly steel and has a very hard, durable and good looking matte black Salt Bath Nitride finish.

5 of 5 Recoil Reducer/Muzzle Climb October 14, 2012
Reviewer: SgtKRG from NC United States
I went to the range and tested it out, it performed better than I expected, I hardly had any disrruption of my EOTech sight while shooting single shots and double tap and even 5 rounds burst of rapid fire. At 7 yards I tested the double taps to see how easy it was to control my Sig556 and I was amazed by my groups; 3 set of double tap all of them within an inch and on the video that I took you see my body very well stabilized and bearly moves, where as with the Ar15 flash suppressor makes me move like I am shooting a 7.62x39mm rather than 5.56mm. I loved it so much that I am about to order another one. The price are second to none, however; be advise for those out there that do not know the difference between Flash suppressor and muzzle brake, this is not intended for hidding your flash AT ALL, but for me is perfect, the flash occurs so fast (milliseconds) that your naked eye can not see it at night! I have tried that! But the Zombies might see the flash, but I want them to! lol :)
