The POF AR-15 Roller Cam Pin lowers friction and smooths operation of the cam pin and the bolt carrier within the upper receiver. This is especially helpful with Piston Driven operating systems since the initial movement of the bolt carrier and cam pin can be quite abrupt. It can also protect the upper receiver from excessive wear from the cam pin on some piston systems. Is beneficial to any AR-15 operating system and especially those that run on the fast side. Cam Pin body and roller are NP3 coated for low friction and easy cleaning. Simple drop-in installation on any piston driven AR-15 bolt carrier. Just replace factory cam pin when field stripping your bolt carrier group. If you have a gas piston AR-15, you should be using one of these.

With many gas piston systems, the upper receiver will start to show excessive wear right behind the cam pin cutout where the cam pin rubs it as it is unlocking. This cam pin is a great way to dramatically reduce the wear on your piston upper and extend its service life. These have been extremely popular with our customers.
