PWS JTAC-47 recoil compensator not only reduces the recoil of your AK47, but does so without a significant increase in blast noise directed toward the shooter or individuals next to the shooter. Very effectively reduces recoil and muzzle climb. One of the best muzzle brakes available for AK series rifles. Makes your rifle very controllable in rapid fire and enables faster shooting. Recommended for competition, self defense and tactical applications. Precision machined with parkarized finish. A high heat polymer washer is included for those needing to add a spacer between the front sight base and the compensator. This polymer ring is heat resistant up to 900 degrees. This unit is 1.95" in length and .875" in diameter and is threaded 14x1mm Left Hand which is the most common thread on AK series rifles.

5 of 5 40% Less Recoil March 17, 2016

I removed the compensator and shot 3 rounds of Monarch 123 grain jacketed bullets, felt a good recoil.  Put the recoil compensator back on.  Yep, it was about 40% less recoil with same ammo.  Also I had 3 rounds touching at 100 yards with the compensator on the rifle.  Sure do like the compensator, I will NOT mess with it again.  I will send you a photo of the 100 yard target.  With the old slant flash hider, shot all over the place.  Now I am ready for HOG hunting.  Thanks Again!
