Smith Enterprise 7.62 Muzzle Brake with 5/8x24 RH threads

This new Smith Enterprise Good Iron muzzle brake is a compact design for 7.62mm rifles that have the standard 5/8x24 TPI RH threads. This applies to military semi-auto rifles and bolt action type rifles that have that thread pattern. Works very well with 6.8 SPC and 300 Blackout rifles with the same thread pattern. Smith Enterprise Good Iron muzzle brakes are supplied with a locking jam-nut that allows the shooter to easily index the muzzle brake. Once in position, the jam nut is tightened against the back of the muzzle brake to lock it into position. Can be used with or without Loctite. Its multiple side and top ports are designed to effectively reduce recoil and muzzle climb. This is a proven recoil reducing design manufactured by Smith Enterprise Incorporated (SEI). It has the same 14 gas ports precision machined into the sides and top of the brake just like the very effective SEI M14 USCG muzzle brake and the SEI M1 Garand muzzle brake. You will notice dramatically less muzzle rise and recoil with this brake. Most shooters estimate about a 40% reduction. Very effective for such a compact muzzle brake. There are no downward facing ports to minimize dust signature from the prone position. This brake is not suppressor capable.

Machined from super tough 8620 stressproof steel and hardened to a core hardness of 36-38 HRC and a surface hardness of 55-58 HRC. The lock nut is also made from 8620 steel and is heat treated to 36-38 HRC all the way through. Brake and jam nut have a very hard, durable and good looking matte black Salt Bath Nitride finish.

Diameter: .905"

4 of 5 Works But... June 10, 2020
Reviewer: Ed from Fayetteville, AR United States
Does reduce recoil but for my application not sure if it's the best choice.
At least not for a .300win mag using large amounts of slow burning powder.  In daytime under a covered shooting station muzzle flash is increased right in front of scope which encourages poor follow through.   Also, largely due to burn rate of my powder I believe the thing causes an upwards push of the butt stock.
So it works but maybe too much in this case.

5 of 5 Smith Enterprise muzzle brake, Well Done May 27, 2020
Reviewer: Ron from Nevada
This is my 3rd muzzle brake of this style from No-Kick. Have installed them on M14, AR10 and 300 AAC. Quality build, looks good, improved muzzle rise and felt recoil. I really prefer the jam nut style over crush washers as it makes it much easier to swap out accessories in the field. Fast Shipping

5 of 5 Smith Enterprise Good Iron July 12, 2019
Reviewer: David Collins from Apple Valley , CA United States
These are the very best muzzle breaks that you can get, I’ve been running them since the 1980’s when a company named Enterprise Arms Inc. in Irwindale California first designed and made these muzzle breaks for FN FAL rifles they made and other gun types before the OhBadOne years took them out.
Now they known to as Smith Enterprise Good Iron muzzle breaks and they just work unbelievably well.
