KYNSHOT - Hydraulic Recoil Buffer for AR-10 with collapsible stock (3.25")

In our experience, this is the softest running AR buffer on the market. It shock absorbs more than any other buffer design and makes a noticeable difference in recoil and shot recovery. Reduce felt recoil, improve reliability, reduce bolt carrier speed, reduce wear on parts, reduce shock and vibration to optics, and suppress bolt bounce with this simple drop-in replacement. Designed for AR-10 rifles with a collapsible stock that use the longer buffer tubes that are 7.75" on the inside. This buffer has a piston that is hydraulically dampened to absorb the shock of impact from the bolt carrier's rearward motion and to prevent bolt bounce as a new cartridge is chambered. You will feel less recoil and smoother operation with this buffer and you will see less movement of your sights during recoil for faster shot to shot recovery time. Replaces buffers that are 3.25" in length.

This buffer is made to the highest quality and durability standards. Can take all the punishment your rifle can dish out. Constructed using 17-4 Stainless Steel and is built to outlast your gun. The hydraulic seal and porting technology used in this buffer has been thoroughly proven which is why the warranty on this buffer is as impressive as it is. Designed for 7.62mm/.308 AR-10 type rifles with an AR-10 length collapsible stock buffer tube which is 7 3/4" long on the inside (AR-15 collapsible buffer tubes are 7" on the inside). This size buffer tube is used on factory collapsible stock .308 rifles such as those made by Armalite, Sig, LWRC, POF, S&W M&P 10, and many others. The best way to confirm is to measure the length of the buffer that came with the rifle from the factory. This buffer model is the same length as the .223 collapsible stock Kynshot buffer, but it is heavier, slightly larger diameter and has a thicker piston head and piston shaft as well as different hydraulic porting to handle the greater mass of a .308 bolt carrier.

This buffer is also a great option AR-15 framed guns that tend to cycle much harder than a typical .223 DI gun. For many SBRs and Piston guns, this is the buffer to use. It will make a very noticeable difference in the recoil, cycling and shot recovery time and it can take the abuse of the harder running AR-15s as well as the 308 ARs.

Works with factory buffer springs, or for the greatest improvement, upgrade your buffer spring to either a Sprinco 308 Carbine Buffer Spring (Orange Spring) or a JP .308 carbine buffer spring. The Sprinco Orange has very long service life. The JP spring makes the least spring noise. If using on a harder running AR-15 framed gun, use extra power .223 carbine springs instead of .308 carbine springs.

AR-15 in 450 Bushmaster (UBR Stock)

Thanks to some great customer support from the guys at NoKick I decided to try this stiffer AR-10 buffer in my AR-15 project because of the heavier recoil of the 450 bushmaster. I have been cycling this buffer in a Magpul UBR stock and it works great! No issues with loading and really makes the gun a lot more fun to shoot. Customer service and NoKick was also outstanding!

PERFECT

Man the 5005 is PERFECT for my Spike's Compressor .300 BLK setup. It also works great with the Spike's 5.56 upper and CMMG Banshee 9mm upper. I was using a Tubb's flat wire spring with the Banshee and it was fine, but I had to put the round carbine spring back in or the 5.56 and .300 wouldn't cycle. Tubb's may be too strong for those uppers with this buffer since they were short stroking a bit with the Tubb's. With the AR10 Hydraulic buffer using subsonic ammo, the .300 BLK felt recoil was more like a nudge or a push than a jolt. So smooth it startled me. I really wasn't expecting that big a difference but it was huge. And I can finally stay on target (mostly) in full auto. Thanks!

Woah

Has to be the best modifications I’ve added to my .458 build shooting with a standard heavy buffer to this completely changed the way it felt to shoot. I felt Like 5 maybe 10 lbs of recoil with the no kick buffer in vs the 25-30 lbs I was feeling before the install . What a game changer if your shooting big bore rifles or any rifle you want to increase Your accuracy follow up shots with while increasing the life of your “ BCG “ you need this buffer!!

Happy customer

Very happy with this buffer paired with the orange Springco buffer spring. Had issues with my AR10 cycling due to overpressure especially during suppressed. Swapped out with this buffer and spring and no more cycling issues and l as felt recoil as a bonus.
