In our experience, this is the softest running AR buffer on the market. It shock absorbs more than any other buffer design and makes a noticeable difference in recoil and shot recovery. This buffer has a piston that is hydraulically dampened to absorb the shock of impact from the bolt carrier's rearward motion and to prevent bolt bounce as a new cartridge is chambered. Seems to work great

All I can say is that many experienced range officers at Nexus Shooting in Davie FL can not believe the lack of recoil and muzzle rise on my home built AR15. One KEY element is to use RIFLE length gas system and a rifle length buffer like the KYNSHOT. I have an Ultra Light Ace fixed stock, a JP silicon steel spring (bought here) and a Todd's Tiny One (PWS TTO) muzzle brake. The PWS TTO is the world's BEST brake for it's miniscule weight and size. It negates the pendulum effect of all those nasty, unnecessarily HUGE brakes. My barrel is a Voodoo 16.5 RIFLE length gas system with a Keis ADJUSTABLE gas block. Having an adjustable gas block is also KEY to obtaining almost no recoil. 6.1 lbs with a red dot optic. Its quite light and kicks like a .22 magnum or less. You can rapid fire at 30 feet and have a tight ragged hole with no fliers. There is no one thing that makes a soft, flat shooting rifle. It is a synergy of parts.

Unbelievable!!!

Got this for my 20'' 1x12'' twist build. Used a PMP reviver set, X-Caliber barrel (lightweight), Sharps BCG, Ace stock with a 1'' extender from Al's custom, Rise Armament Stinger handguard, GO Guns XL Brake, Tubb flat wire buffer spring, SSA-E trigger and other good parts. The first rounds out of this setup was with IMI M193 ball ammo and I thought I had a squib load as the recoil was nothing!!! I have two 308 builds in the works and I will use the AR-10 version of this buffer for both. As Big Dave said above , It's the synergy of parts. Thanks Nokick

It works for my 450 Bushmaster

I have a 20 inch 450 Bushmaster with a A1 length fixed stock. Typically use 250 grain Hornady Black but going to higher grain for medium size game in the future. I have numerous neck injuries from USMC and fighting career. Needed something other than slip on butt stock and an adjustable gas block. This buffer system was exactly what I needed and works PERFECTLY!!! It took the "sharpness" out of the kick and can easily now shoot several boxes of ammo if I want to. Works so good, my hunting buddy got one for his 450 rifle and reports same results. Very happy about awesome results and will use on my future builds. Thanks!!!

Kynshot excellence

Absolutely phenomenal product. I bought one because I had surgery to repair my shoulder and it aches with too much recoil but after putting one of these in with a cs flat wire spring and a Nero 556 and I don’t feel anything. I had my dad try it out and now we’re both running this buffer in all of our setups !
