Primary Weapons Systems (PWS) Precision Rifle Compensator (PRC)
The PRC is a specialized compensator for bolt action rifles as well as AR type rifles that is designed to dramtically reduce felt recoil while allowing the shooter to maintain an accurate sight picture of the target. It is designed for cartridges up to .338 Lapua and works very well with .308 Win, .30-06, and any of the .300 and .338 Magnums. Also works well with any 7.62 semi-auto battle rifle that has the standard 5/8x24 RH threads. Has been shown to be effective even with smaller calibers such as 6.5 Creedmoor and .260 Rem as well. Perfectly at home on a tactical rifle or sporting rifle. Ports are angled 30 degrees to the rear for very high efficiency in recoil reduction. This compensator reduces felt recoil approximately 60 percent and is one of our most effective muzzle brakes and one of our all time most popular with our customers.
Is very popular with Remington 700 and Savage Tactical bolt actions that come with factory threaded barrels as well as tactical semi-autos and AR-10 type rifles. This is a favorite of customers with the Rem 700 SPC Tactical or AAC models that come with threaded barrels.
Length: 3.00"
Diameter: .970"
Weight: 4.0 oz
Thread Pattern: 5/8x24 RH.
* The exit hole is .375 cal, so .338 is the largest caliber that should be used with it.
* Includes 5/8" Crush Washer
Features:
Very effective recoil reduction especially with magnum cartridges
Works very well with any full power .30 or .338 caliber cartridge
Effective even with 6.5-7mm cartridges
Less blast and lower pressure than many other compensators
Unique design, high quality, lifetime warranty, made in USA.

Great Brake - Looks Great
I put this on a fairly light Remington 700 SPS Varmint in .308. Just shot 100 rounds today - 50 168gr and 50 175gr. Not the least bit sore - I could shoot it all day. Knocks recoil down to a very comfortable level. I can keep a pretty good sight picture - could see the impact on steel plates at 400 and 500 yards so it is good for tracking or follow-up shots. I did not notice much of a muzzle blast, felt concussion, or noise. I was shooting under a covered range and could not feel any muzzle blast. A shooter 2 tables down had a very noticable blast from his hunting 30-06. I asked them if mine was loud and they said it was fine. It looks great and only took me one shim to get it perfectly aligned. Accuracy is not affected at all - my best loads are still shooting just over .5 at 100 yds. I would recommend purchasing this brake. Does add length so make sure your cleaning rod is long enough.

Great product; Great Company & USA MADE!!
I spent quite some time deciding on a compensator for my Remington 700 AAC. In the end I obviously went with this one. There many reasons for choosing this compensator: 1. I like how the compensator is a bit more streamlined that some of the competitors, not quite so bulky. 2. The company was extremely easy to deal with, my order was at my doorstep within 3 days of ordering it (FL to CA) and when I called to ask a question about the shipping method, a real English speaking person with a heartbeat answered the phone and was able to give me the information I needed in a clear and friendly manor. (Odd isn’t it?) 3. After receiving it I pulled my rifle out and had it mounted within 10min. The shim kit that it came with worked perfectly, for some reason I prefer the shims instead of a crush washer, just seems like a better solution to me. 4. Feel comfortable knowing that the shims are COMPLETELY hidden in the recessed area of the compensator, just like advertised. 5. I put about 80 rounds downrange in one sitting since purchasing this compensator and contrary what some people think about needing one for a .308, it does help and thanks to whoever designed this compensator it looks cool while doing it. And since my rifle came with a threaded barrel I needed something, just doesn’t look right having a cap on there. 6. If I had to guess I would think it took about 40% to 50% of the recoil out. 7. I was surprised that the report wasn’t much too much louder than the rifle without the compensator. What I and the other people I was shooting with did notice however was that the report was sharper almost piercing. But overall the report from the rifle was more than bearable using standard hearing protection. 8. If you are torn between this and another compensator, I can tell you that you will not be disappointed spending the money on this one, you most definitely get what you pay for and what they advertise as far as performance.

Perfect for Rem 700 AAC-SD
Got the PWS PRC comp today, and your YouTube video was 100% spot on. The fit of the comp to my Remington 700 AAC-SD barrel looks like the comp was made with this barrel in mind. I could not be happier with my purchase. It is a pleasure to do business with a company that is accurate with their product descriptions.

excellent for 300WM
I purchased one of these for a Remmington 700 5R barrel in 300 win mag. It was extremely unpleasant to shoot with 208gr AMAX going just over 2900FPS. After installing this compensator it felt more like a standard 150gr 30-06 hunting round. Follow up shots required very little adjustment, I could see my shots impact through my scope and it didn't piss off everyone shooting prone for 20 feet in both directions. It does what it says and way more than I expected. I'd suggest letting your friends know not to stand directly behind you.
