Smith Enterprise M14 / M1A Gas Plug

This M14/M1A Gas Plug is designed to mil-spec and built to exceed spec. This part is used on Smith Enterprise's military contract rifle builds. Machined from billet 17-4 Stainless Steel and double heat treated to include M80HT 60 HRC on surface and cryogenically treated with salt bath nitride finish. Will not corrode. This super tough gas plug will stand up to more abuse and the nut portion will not get galled or rounded from use like a softer part would. The inside finish makes it easier to clean.

This part works well with all M1A rifles to include Springfield Armory factory M1A, M1A Scout and SOCOM-16, as well as the SEI SOCOM-16 Threaded Gas Locks and the SEI M1A/M14 Gas Locks.
